We welcome all runners, walkers, joggers, and spectators that are interested in enjoying the great outdoors and the great craft beer that Colorado has to offer. All of our participants complete a 5k course nearby each brewery. Afterwards, everyone hangs out and enjoys local live music!

WHAT WE’RE ABOUT: Our motto = be active, have fun, give back! In addition to pairing some exercise and good drinks, a portion of all proceeds go back to local non-profits, In 2017, we happily partnered with the Dumb Friends League, The Park People, Safehouse Denver, and The House that Beer Built. We are very proud that the Colorado Brewery Running Series has so far donated almost $6,000 to local non-profits!

WHAT’S NEXT: In our two short years here in Colorado, we have hosted 26 events at 20 different breweries, resulting in over 2,000 runners completing our courses. As word-of-mouth spreads and awareness continues to grow, we are looking forward to 2018 being our biggest, best, and most brewtiful year yet!"

It is a family-friendly undy-themed RunWalk created by the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, with the goal to provide support for patients and families, caregivers, and survivors; to raise awareness of preventive measures; and inspire efforts to fund critical research.

Most Undy RunWalk events are a 5K, approximately 3.1 miles, and include a one mile fun run, which is untimed. People of all fitness levels attend and all events are timed unless otherwise noted. There are medals for the top three finishers in each age group and all fundraising participants receive a pair of our infamous undies to run or walk in.

Funds raised through the Undy RunWalk support national prevention, research, and patient support initiatives at the Colorectal Cancer Alliance. The Undy RunWalk also supports the Blue Hope Partnership Program by providing funding to local organizations that are making strides to end colorectal cancer in our lifetime."

Open Streets Minneapolis – West Broadway
Hennepin, MN
11:00am - 5:00pm

West Broadway from Penn Ave N to Lyndale Ave N,
Hennepin, MN 55454

"The Minneapolis Bicycle Coalition, now Our Streets Minneapolis, began Open Streets Minneapolis in 2011 with one event on two miles of Lyndale Avenue South. An estimated 5,000 people attended the first Open Streets Minneapolis event, revisioning the Lyndale Avenue as a space for walking, biking, community building, and play.

Since 2011, Open Streets Minneapolis turned more than 28 streets into car-free, public spaces for a weekend afternoon. Building on the success of the first Open Streets Minneapolis, the Minneapolis Bicycle Coalition hosted a second Lyndale Avenue event, and added one on Lowry Avenue North. From 2015 through 2017, the Minneapolis Bicycle Coalition, now Our Streets Minneapolis, hosted eight Open Streets Minneapolis events across the City each year.

In 2017, more than 101,000 people participated in eight Open Streets Minneapolis events. Partner businesses and organizations hosted a total of 807 street spaces along the eight 2017 routes.

Through this incredible growth, Our Streets Minneapolis continues to focus on community at Open Streets Minneapolis. Unlike a more traditional street festival, we aim to fill the street primarily with businesses and organizations and people who live and work within five blocks of each route. We hope to build on this work in 2018 and beyond.

Open Streets Minneapolis is a City of Minneapolis event, hosted by Our Streets Minneapolis and presented by the Center for Prevention at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota. Open Streets West Broadway is hosted locally by the West Broadway Business and Area Coalition with support from Our Streets Minneapolis. Open Streets Nicollet is hosted locally by the Kingfield, Lyndale, and Whittier neighborhood associations with support from Our Streets Minneapolis."
