As Naked as the day we were born ... How we got here
We've come a long way from our humble beginnings selling homemade juices to sunbathers in Santa Monica back in 1983. From beach towel to beach towel, word of our flavor-packed juices spread quickly and before long we were turning up in stores throughout California. Nowadays, we're distributed in all 50 states, along with Canada and the U.K., but we remain more dedicated than ever to the same hand-crafted quality, sustainable practices and goodness that you'd expect from a juice that has the berries to call itself Naked.
Making the whole planet feel better,
at a time.
We know a healthy body doesn't mean much without a healthy world to live in. That's why at Naked we make sure that all our products make an impact that will enhance your life and the planet's. From our fruit-sourcing partnerships and our LEED-certified bottling facility to our 100 percent postrecycled reNEWabottles®, we make our juices committed to the belief that wellness is about more than just personal health — it extends to the entire world around us, too.
Dedicated to preserving our planet.
We use only what Mother Nature gave us.

A partnership with plenty of ap-peel.
Bananas are good. They're loaded with nutrients. But what we know for a fact is that every banana used in Naked juices and smoothies are even better. That's because we have help sourcing them from The Rainforest Alliance, a nonprofit organization that's committed to conserving biodiversity and ensuring sustainable livelihoods for farmers and their families. Benefits include: Clearer, Cleaner H2O through contamination controls. You're welcome fishies. Erosion Reduction through soil conservation practices. Wildlife Refuge in critical ecosystems such as wetlands and forest patches are preserved to keep our furry, flighty and fishy types in their homes. Better Lives for Farmers, their families and communities reap the benefits, too. They're given access to healthcare, transportation and education programs. Waste Reduction through more composting and recycling, where possible.LEARN MORE ABOUT THE RAINFOREST ALLIANCE RainforestAlliance.org
Do you believe in bottle reincarnation? We do.
If we could find a way to get our tasty juice into your mouth without a bottle, believe us, we'd do it. But since we do need to package it in something, that something might as well be a good thing. Hence, the Naked reNEWabottle. It's a bottle made from other bottles and can be turned into a bottle after you've finished the delicious juice inside.
Here's the deal, though. We need them back. Because we're the only nationally distributed beverage company to use rPET (recylcable polyethylene terephthalate) we have to make sure they're recycled and turned into bottles again, again and again. By using this new plastic we'll be able to use nearly 50 percent less energy than if we started with virgin plastic.
Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. Reincarnate.
It's hip to be square.
Let's face it … we're kind of a big deal. Not only are we truckin' our products all over the United States, we're also exporting them into Canada. And that takes fuel, something we can't avoid. But what we do have control over, as a way of squeezing as many bottles into those shipments as possible, are our bottles.
And that's why ours look a bit different from our cohorts when you see them on the shelf — they're square! And to us, being square is pretty flipping cool. It allows us to be more efficient with fuel we're using and that's better for the environment. And while it's still somewhat top secret, we're working on a teleportation machine. “Beam me up, smoothie!”
When it comes
to bottling, we
LEED by example.
With all this work we do on being environmentally conscious, it'd be a bummer if we stopped at sourcing and bottles. So, we focused on our bottling facility and our office, both of which were awarded LEED (Leadership in Environmental Design) status. Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, LEED's main goal is to implement practical and measurable environmentally friendly building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions. And our buildings do just that.
To start, we use as much natural light as we can, thanks to oversized windows. In addition to reusing and composting as much waste as possible, we've also installed 1,824 solar panels. These panels provide us with an energy amount that is equivalent to what it would take to power approximately 25 Southern California Homes for a year.
- WHAT'S INSIDE
No added sugarNo preservatives
Mother Nature gave us some pretty great stuff to play with — and the best part is, it's all good. And given our name is Naked, it'd be pretty lame to cover up the wonderful taste of Earth's delicious bounty with artificial flavors or added sugars.
So every time your body is craving refreshing, delicious fruits and veggies, you can be 100 percent sure that every Naked product is providing you with just that. And that's our Naked Truth!
Our boosts will send you to the moon.
Fruits and veggies are great, and provide you with vitamins and minerals that a lot of junk food just can't. But let's face it, sometimes you need some extra "umph" to get you through a busy day or workout. That's why some of our smoothies are created with added boosts.
Boosts We Use Include:
Barley Grass, Biotin, Blue Green Algae, Broccoli, Chlorella, Choline, Fiber, Garlic, Ginger, Parsley, Grape Seed Extract, Soy Protein, Spinach, Spirulina, Vitamin A, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Wheat Grass, Whey Protein and Zinc
Veggie for life.
While many of our products are vegan approved, some do contain dairy or other ingredients that came from the loving graciousness of an animal — and we thank them dearly for them.
