Recycle. Reuse. Reincarnate. Reduce.

Do you believe in bottle reincarnation? We do. Hence, the Naked® reNEWabottle®. Made from other recycled bottles, it can also be turned into a bottle once you’re done with it.

We just need your help returning them. Since we’re the only nationally distributed juice company to use 100% rPET (recylcable polyethylene terephthalate), we need them back to be sure they’re turned into bottles again and again. This saves about 25% more energy than if we started with virgin plastic.

It’s Hip to be Square

bottle-iconIn fact, we think being square is pretty flippin’ cool. That’s why our bottles look a bit different from others on the shelf—they’re square!

These bottles allow us to squeeze more into our shipments, making us more fuel efficient, thereby reducing our carbon footprint. And while our goodness has no boundaries—we’re delivering products all over the US and into Canada—our shipping space does, so every little bit counts.

When It Comes to Bottling, We LEED® By Example

More than environmentally conscious sourcing and bottles, we also focused on our bottling facility and offices—both of which were awarded U.S. Green Building Council® LEED (Leadership in Environmental Design) status.

We use as much natural light as we can, reuse and compost as much waste as possible, and run part of our operations on solar power. Our 1,824 solar panels provide us with the energy equivalent of the yearly usage of 25 Southern California homes.

We See Our Glass as Full

The only thing more important in this world than good juice is good water. That’s why we’re committed to helping protect and conserve global water supplies, especially in water-stressed areas.

Between 2013 and 2015, we reduced our water usage in our L.A. facility by over 31 million gallons.

Nutrition-cy Efficiency

We’re always looking for new ways to lessen our footprint. In 2015, our shipments by train removed 4,582,482 miles from the road—the same as driving 9.6 round trips to the moon. This reduced our carbon footprint by 5,020 tons of CO2 —the amount of carbon consumed annually by 4,117 acres of U.S. forests (roughly 3,119 football fields).

In 2016, we’re replacing current fleet vehicles, quadrupling our fuel efficiency and reducing our annual diesel fuel consumption by 580,000 gallons. It will also reduce CO2 (a greenhouse gas) by more than 13-million pounds per year.
